About T3 Sixty
T3 Sixty is a research and management consulting firm in residential real estate. Its clients include Zillow, realtor.com, Compass, Keller Williams, and RE/MAX. The firm runs on around forty people, most of them remote professionals, many with executive backgrounds. It is a business where the quality of thinking is the product, which makes every hour lost to admin tasks an hour lost to strategic output.
Why a digital teammate?
The team already used ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini, and siloed AI tools had led to fragmented work across teams. So the goal isn't to add another tool, but to consolidate siloed tasks into shared context and offload manual admin work so the team can focus on more valuable work.
"Our analysis was being done in a lot of different ways, presentations, spreadsheets, things like that, in a lot of different contexts," Miller says. At the same time, scheduling, flights, meetings, and agendas still ran through people whose time was worth more elsewhere.
Zero-friction adoption from day one
T3 Sixty onboarded the agent, named Felix, the way it would onboard a person, then introduced it to the team in Slack. The team did not wait. "They literally jumped in that same day," Miller says.
It's been a zero-friction adoption, because we just introduced Felix as another team member that was highly capable and could take on all kinds of work.
- Jack Miller, President and CEO, T3 Sixty
The difference from earlier tools is behavioral. "It behaves a lot more like a human being," Miller says, describing an agent that is proactive, remembers things, sends reminders, and takes responsibility in a way a normal AI chat interface never does. The payoff shows in small moments. Wanting a heat map slide for a client presentation, Miller had Felix pull the data and build it within minutes, then send it to the client the same hour. In the old pattern, that idea would have gone on a list and waited for a free hour that rarely came.
Seeing benefit across the board: marketing executives, high-stakes consultants, and frontline executives
The value stacks because one teammate serves the whole firm at once, holding context across the board - analysis, scheduling, inboxes, and client follow-up. In one case, Felix moderated a firm brainstorm in Slack, brought in fresh research, summarized the thread, then produced a first draft slide deck the same day. "We had another digital teammate just playing along, offering to do the admin and the compiling," Miller says.
Breadth also expands what a team will even ask for. "Felix gives you permission to ask for things that are unreasonable to ask from a human being," Miller says. He would never ask a human assistant to read his inbox every day, prioritize it, and draft his responses, but Felix picks up that tedious work and frees the team for what needs them: creativity, critical judgment, big-picture thinking.
The compounding reaches multiple teams, including marketing executives, high-powered consultants, and frontline executives.
I've found myself focusing around four to five hours more a week thinking strategically, which for an executive is a lot. It's really helped me have more executive time versus lower-value administrative or tracking time.
- Jack Miller
Beyond teams: Driving values for clients without adding extra headcounts
For a consulting firm, everything turns on the value clients feel, and the sharpest gain here is responsiveness, the quality Miller says every client now expects regardless of industry. Felix reads his entire inbox every day and surfaces what actually needs him, so the messages that build relationships get answered quickly rather than slipping down the pile.
"Every day it's reading through my whole inbox and saying, this needs a response right away, this needs you. It keeps me responsive to the things that really do need that response, and that builds the customer relationship."
- Jack Miller
The same reliability raises the level of service the consulting team can offer without adding hours to anyone's week. Felix handles appointments, scheduling, and follow-up with a persistence a busy admin may let slip, staying on a meeting until it is set rather than letting it drift. Often, clients did not realize they were working with a digital teammate until Miller told them, and the reaction tended to reinforce T3 Sixty's positioning as a forward-leaning consultancy that practices what it advises.
To ensure the compliance of their client work demands, Miller made security his first question for Automat. With confidentiality agreements covering most of the firm's clients, the answer mattered, and Automat's full compliance layer, SOC standards, and deliberate separation of customer data gave him the language to reassure those clients directly.
Why Automat
Miller's reasoning for buying rather than building comes down to leverage. "You can't be an expert at everything, and our focus needs to be on our customers," he says. "Use leverage when you find it. Stay in the areas where you have the highest and best value to add. He credits the Automat team as friendly, responsive, and on top of it, qualities he feels show up in Felix itself.
What would you tell a peer?
Asked what he would tell a peer, Miller does not hedge:
"It's a no-brainer. You'll immediately become more productive, and Monday to Friday you won't believe how much stuff you get done. "
- Jack Miller
